Privacy Policy – Wild Nord
Article 1 – Collected Personal Data
When you make a purchase in our store, we collect the personal information you provide, such as your name, address, and email address, as part of the purchase and sales process.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer's IP address, which gives us more information about the browser and operating system you are using.
Email Marketing (if applicable): With your consent, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.
Article 2 – Consent
How do we obtain your consent?
When you provide your personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for delivery, or return a purchase, we assume you consent to our collection and use of your information solely for that purpose.
If we ask you for personal information for another purpose, such as marketing, we will either ask for your explicit consent directly or provide you with the option to decline.
How do I withdraw my consent?
If you change your mind after giving us your consent and no longer want us to contact you or process your information, you can let us know by contacting us at: info@wildnord.se.
Article 3 – Disclosure
We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law or if you violate our Terms and Conditions.
Article 4 – Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc. which provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored in Shopify's data storage systems and databases. The data is stored on a secure server protected by a firewall.
Payments:
If you complete your purchase through a direct payment gateway, Shopify stores your credit card details. This information is encrypted in accordance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your transaction details are only retained as long as necessary to complete your order. After that, the data is deleted.
All direct payment gateways comply with PCI-DSS and are managed by PCI Security Standards Council, a collaboration of companies such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
These requirements ensure secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
More information can be found in Shopify's Terms of Service.
Article 5 – Third-Party Services
In general, third-party providers we use will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to provide the services they perform for us.
However, some third-party providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies for the information we must provide to them for your purchase transactions.
We recommend that you carefully read their privacy policies so that you understand how they handle your personal information.
Please note that some providers may be located in or have facilities in a different jurisdiction than you or us. If you choose to proceed with a transaction involving a third-party provider, your information may therefore be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where the provider or its facilities are located.
For example, if you are located in Sweden and your transaction is processed through a payment gateway in the USA, your information may be disclosed under U.S. law.
When you leave our store's website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this privacy policy or our Terms and Conditions.
Article 6 – Security
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure that it is not lost, misused, accessed without authorization, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, it is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
